About the Frogtown Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP)

Become a Frogtown Curling VIP!

The Volunteer Incentive Program (VIP) is meant to benefit both the club and members by providing rewards for helping out at the club. Starting in summer 2023, “frogs” will be awarded to members for each volunteer effort, which are translated into end-of-year rewards and entries into an end-of-year raffle. Anyone who volunteers at least once throughout the year gets invited to the end-of-year VIP party, with food and beverages to show our appreciation!

To see all the details about the incentive progam and rewards click Read More. Volunteer opportunities are posted at the bottom of this page as well as at the club (check the board on the "crock pot wall"). Need to recruit volunteers? Send details about your volunteer opportunity to This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it. to have it posted here and at the club.

Volunteer and Earn Frogs

“Frogs” are earned by volunteering at any club event or improvement project for a minimum of 1 hour. Each volunteer opportunity is assigned a level, based on the time commitment needed & value to the club. Earn an extra frog if this is your first time volunteering, or if you bring a first-time volunteer with you.

What are Frogs Worth?

Frogs add up throughout the year, and at the year-end VIP Party add up to entries for the VIP raffle prizes.

Raffle prizes will include, but are not limited to:

  • Guaranteed entry into the always-popular Frogtown spiel for the following year (the winner still has to pay for their team, so it's not free, just guaranteed)
  • Free ice rental: 2 sheets for 2 hours to bring your family/friends to come learn to curl (instructors not provided)
  • Merchandise credit for up to 2 items ($60 max full retail)

Tiers are the sum of all total frogs accumulated throughout the year, and prizes will be awarded at the end of the year VIP party. If you are unable to attend the party, we can arrange for pickup of your prizes at the last night of your league play.
