We have two great bonspiels coming up quickly.
First is the Pride Spiel starting November 10th. All curlers are welcome, and there are over $2000 in prizes to be given away.
Next is the Aurora Women's Spiel starting December 1. There are already teams from over 10 clubs signed up, but there's still room.
If you've never played in a bonspiel, they're tons of fun and a great way to improve quickly.
Here's something new this year. We have made a change in how we're handling missed games this year. In the past, missed games have just gone unrecorded until they were eventually played later. This year, if a team can't make a scheduled league game, it'll be marked as a loss for them and a win for their scheduled opponent. If the game is made up at a later time, the wins and losses can be updated with the actual results then. Remember, you can use subs, and you only need three to play, so try not to miss games! If it can't be avoided, please make sure to contact your opponent and the manager in advance. You can send emails to other teams right from the website.
