2024-25 Rookie League #1

Is curling on your bucket list? Looking for a way to socialize during long Minnesota winters? Or have you ever watched Olympic curling on TV with a mix of befuddlement and intrigue, and think, “I want to try that!”

If this is you, you may be interested in our in-depth instructional series, The Rookie League!

Absolutely no experience is required. The goal is to prepare you for league play and feel comfortable doing so. Stone delivery fundamentals, sweeping techniques, rules, strategy and etiquette will be covered in the four-session series. There will also be time to scrimmage among fellow learn-to-curlers.

These sessions are perfect for someone who has attended one of our learn-to-curl group sessions and is eager to learn more, or for someone who has never curled. It is appropriate for those looking to learn the game at a higher level as many are looking to pursue membership and/or participate in leagues.

• Both off-ice and on-ice instruction and coached game-play
• Designed for adults and teens
• No experience or equipment necessary

Sign up as an individual or with family and friends. Come once or for all sessions. We will tailor the lesson and build on skills for those who attend multiple sessions.

This is a learning environment; we encourage those looking at a private or corporate event to visit our learn to curl page.

Cost is $30 per session plus tax. Pre-registration is required.
