Volunteers are needed to help with learn-to-curl private group events at various dates and times throughout the curling season. These private group events bring in important revenue to Frogtown and introduce new people to the sport. As a volunteer, you'll help teach new curlers the basics of the game.
Events last about two hours. As a bonus, all learn-to-curl instructors get paid $25 cash at each event. Volunteering can help you pay for your next bonspiel or equipment purchase!
Not sure that you're qualified? You probably are! If you can demonstrate the basics of throwing and sweeping, explain the rules and flow of the game, and help people be safe and have fun on the ice, you know plenty. More experienced volunteers will help you along during the event.
