Want to Try Curling? Here’s your chance! Frogtown Curling Club is hosting an open house on Saturday, Jan. 17; 1-7pm.
Frogtown Curling Club instructors will be giving mini-lessons so you can get a taste of curling. You’ll learn how to throw a stone, sweep, and score, with an opportunity to play a mini game. The lesson lasts about 1 hour and offers a good overview of the sport.
Cost is $20 for attendees with a Winter Carnival button, and $24 for those without one. We welcome all individuals including children aged 12 and up. Please bring in a pair of clean sneakers and dress in warm, flexible clothing.
